The Stumps – A Follow up to Baker Lake

Posted: April 15, 2009 in Photography

As promised, yes a bit late, but the follow up to our day shoot at Baker Lake.  During the summer months, these stumps are completely submerged under water.  During the winter, they keep the lake level low and the stumps are exposed.

Very interesting pictures, Chad. The stumps are great subjects and you’ve captured a very unique perspective of them. Very good. Is it possible to bring out more lights and darks on them? What does more contrast do for them? And I love your waterfall shots, the water appears so soft as if it were a different dimension. Well done-

Good job Chad! I remember being fascinated with taking pics of stumps last summer during my visit. Of course, your results look a whole lot better than my results! I really enjoy viewing all your shots. keep up the good work!

Nice work Chad. You have a good eye for detail and that is what makes you portfolio unique.
